Natus Vincere is one of the more famous teams in esports, having a well-established presence in a number of games, including League of Legends, World of Tanks and Defense of the Ancients, as well as CSGO. Based in Ukraine, they are one of the giants of the sport, having been the first team in history to win three major tournaments in a calendar year, winning the Intel Extreme Masters, Electronic Sports World Cup and World Cyber Games in 2010. Their roster of players is very powerful, and they continue to occupy a place in the top tier of esports teams in 2017. Established in 2009, the name is Latin for ‘Born to Win’, and it certainly appears apt.

The real strength of the Natus Vincere CSGO team is their history of success. Since their inception, they have enjoyed many superb tournament victories, and their total prize winnings of more than $1.6 million is a testament to this success. The team’s winnings of $215,573 in 2010 remain a record for the most winnings in a year. Their players frequently feature highly in world standings, and that 2010 team managed to capture four of the places in the world’s Top 20 CSGO players for that year.
The team has also developed an intense rivalry with the SK Gaming team, which adds a little spice to contests between the teams. This rivalry began at the DreamHack Cluj-Napoca 2015, and remains a source of many Reddit discussions.

As might be expected from a team with such a history of success, Natus Vincere have a very professional website, which features team profiles, merchandising, news and a discussion forum, as well as live streaming of events. The team colours of yellow and black feature on the team’s simple logo, which has the letters ‘NAV’ as its central feature.
The team’s success has also helped them to attract an impressive array of sponsors. Nayus Vincere have a betting partnership with esports betting site GGBet, and the Jetradar travel agency, as well as DXRacer, who manufacture gaming chairs, and Twitch TV. Other deals in operation include one with Fragstore, who manufacture the team’s branded clothing, which fans can purchase via the team’s website. Fans can buy a replica team jersey from the team’s website, alongside a host of other products. Fans can also download team themed wallpaper for their device screens.
Team Roles / Expertise/ Divisions
The team roster at Natus Vincere is very impressive, boasting players whose winning records and experience in CSGO are outstanding. Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev is a Ukrainian star of the team. A multiple world championship winner, he plays the role of an entry fragger when he’s in action with his team-mates. Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovacs is the team’s Slovakian star, known for his confidence and commitment to the cause, as well as his ‘never say die’ attitude.
Roster & Achievements
As well as the two stars above, who occupy senior roles in the group, the Natus Vincere CSGO team also features a young rising star of the sport. Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is a 19-year-old from Kyiv, who functions as a very aggressive and accurate rifler when in action.
